What are ghosts? In the paranormal dimension ghosts are the souls and physical energy of those that once resided here on earth. In retrospect they still do, it is believed that when a person passes to the after life they go on to a new dimension. Sometimes however they don’t, they stay here in limbo, as it would be known. In some cases they don’t even know they have past. When a spirit or ghost comes into the vicinity of you or others, they sometimes give off a strange fragrance and coldness. Why? The coldness is down to the ghost absorbing the energy around you. The fragrance is energy from the spirit; it is trying to create a memory to help those remember who they once were. There are two types of haunting Type 1: Residual. Type 2: Physical.

In a Type 1 Residual, this is known as an imprint or REC < GSI term AKA Residual Energy Captured. This is where a person can witness an event from a point in the past as it once happened. This event can repeat over and over again, it never changes. This type of haunting is usually found in places of great tragedy. It is believed that the surrounding building and/or the area absorb the energy from the moment the incident happened and releases it every so often. This type of haunting shows no physical contact or intelligence. The GSI theory "spectrum effect" explains why we see ghosts by the bending of light! It is possible that things can appear and disappear just by bending light. It has been found that to the viewer it all seems very real as if witnessing a real ghost visitation. Statistics show that a Residual Haunting is more common than first thought.

In a Type 2 Physical Haunting, this is known as a Ghost or Spirit or even Apparition. The ghost is that of physical energy and will try to interact with the person experiencing the haunting. This type of haunting shows intelligence, and can sometimes be quite disturbing. In order for a ghost to appear first it has to build up its energy. Remember the old TV sets and radios? They didn’t show a picture or sound straight away. This was because they had to warm up and build the energy in the CRT, in order for you to see and hear sounds. This is the same principal in a ghost haunting, it to has to build up the energy so that you can see the image and hear the sounds. The energy the ghost builds is known as ectoplasm, this is a grey mist it uses this to form its shape. Sometimes ectoplasm can be found in an area where a ghost once was, but has moved on, leaving what is known as a trace. All ghosts give off  electrical signals or EMF < Electro Magnetic Field. This electrical signal is what an EMF meter detects when used on a paranormal investigation. The question "can ghosts walk through walls" has been asked many times. Some believe it is possible, others don't. We believe that maybe there was a doorway that had been bricked up over time. The residual energy is unaware of this and simply keeps playing the repeated loop. So to the person experiencing the sighting, it appears to be passing through the wall that was once a doorway. Another GSI theory explains how physical energy could pass through solid objects like walls etc. This could be down to the atoms on earth might have no effect on paranormal energy, as such it doesn’t hold it back. Example: you use a paper filter to clean fluid, the filter appears solid, but the fluid passes straight through. Yet it stops some particals. So perhaps atoms can not hold back paranormal energy thus it passes through walls? Such as light can pass through glass, physical energy passing through matter. Please understand these explanations are only theoretical, it is up to you if you chose to accept them or not.

The paranormal is a massive subject with so many areas still unexplained, but as more and more theories are put forward maybe we are getting that bit closer to the truth.
